Dogwood Flordia Cherokee Sunset
New growth of 'Cherokee Sunset' has tips of pinkish red. Green leaves have broad, irregular yellow margins. In fall, leaves turn pink to red to purple. Bracts are red and trees have excellent vigor. This cultivar is reportedly resistant to spot anthracnose. It was released by Commercial Nursery in Decherd, TN, in 1989.
