Weeping Flowering Dogwood
This is the pendulous form of the common flowering dogwood which originated at Meehan’s, a Philadelphia nursery, before 1880. The habit is rather stiff with strongly descending branches. The abundant white flowers are typical of the species. Full sun or light shade. 8-10’ and 6-8’ spread with age. Zones 5-9. Grafted on Cornus kousa var. chinensis.
