Fothergilla - Dwarf Fothergilla is early blooming and low-growing delight for small spaces. This deciduous 2- to 3-foot shrub is noted for the 1-inch spikes of honey-scented, creamy-white flowers that appear in early spring. The flower show is followed by leathery, dark green summer foliage that blazes a brilliant yellow and orange-red in fall.
Fothergilla is considered to be one of America's top native shrubs! For best color, plant in full sun and acid, well-drained soil. Zones 5-8.
