Botanical Name: Miscanthus sinensis 'Puenktchen'

Latin: Miscanthus (mis-KAN-thus) sinensis (sin-EN-sis)
Description: Arching clumps of 3/8" wide foliage have horizontal yellow bands spaced about 4" apart. Will find 0-2 bands per blade. Deep reddish-brown plume appear early September. Differs from Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus' & 'Zebrinus' in that it is shorter, has earlier plumes, and wider spaced leaf bands.
