Maple Japanese Ebony Acer Palm. Crimson-red new leaves turn to dark purple. During summer the foliage changes to red and in fall the colors are in the scarlet range during cold winters. Hardy, deciduous, cascading shrub to about 12' tall. Excellent accent, background or container plant. Finely dissected leaves hold color better than most cultivars of this type.
