Emerald Lace Japanese Maple A rather remarkable new cultivar and one of our favorites. Deep green and very lacy, 'Emerald Lace' is also extremely vigorous and hardy. It develops unusually long branches, that are radically weeping; with an open habit. It will crawl along the ground if you let it, but can also be staked to good effect. A fast grower, it may reach 10'x10' in 10 years. As a bonus, the fall color, usually yellow in green laceleafs, is bright burgundy red in this cultivar.
